Free Orthodontic Consultation in Las Vegas
About an hour with Dr. Beth. You leave with a 3D scan of your bite, a written treatment plan and the exact fee — whether or not you go ahead.
The diagnostics are included, not the sales pitch
Plenty of practices advertise a free consultation and mean a ten-minute look before quoting for records separately. Here is what is genuinely included.
Exactly how the appointment goes
Arrival and paperwork — 10 minutes
Lisa checks you in. If you filled in the new patient forms beforehand this takes two minutes rather than fifteen, so it is worth doing at home.
Photos and 3D scan — 15 minutes
Regie or Jessica takes your clinical photos and the iCAT scan. Nothing goes in your mouth beyond a small retractor for the photos. Children generally find the scanner interesting rather than alarming.
Examination with Dr. Beth — 20 minutes
She examines your bite, then turns the screen around and walks you through your own scan. Ask questions mid-sentence — that is the point of the visit, not an interruption to it.
Options and honest recommendation
Which treatments genuinely suit your case, which do not, and why. Where more than one is viable we price both. Where the right answer is to wait and review, she says that instead.
Numbers — 10 minutes
Your written plan, the exact fee, your verified insurance benefit and the monthly figure. All before you leave, none of it estimated later.
You decide, on your timeline
Some patients start the same day. Many go home and think. There is no expiring offer, no discount that vanishes at the door, and nobody will chase you.
Four things that make the visit more useful
Fill in the forms at home
Your health history takes about ten minutes and saves the same at the office. New patient packet.
Bring your insurance card
We verify your orthodontic benefit during the visit, which needs the plan details. If you are unsure whether you have orthodontic coverage, bring it anyway and we will check.
Write your questions down
People reliably forget them in the chair. Cost, timeline, what happens if it does not track, whether your child needs treatment yet — all fair, all worth asking.
Bring any records you have
Transferring mid-treatment, or had orthodontics before? Previous records help considerably. If you cannot get them, come anyway — we can take our own.
You do not need a referral. A dentist’s referral is not required in Nevada and would not change your fee. Book directly. And you do not need to be sure about treatment — a good number of people book a consultation purely to find out where they stand.
Good reasons to come in
Your child is around seven
The AAO recommends a first evaluation by age seven. Most children need nothing yet — the visit tells you whether that is true for yours. Early treatment →
Your teen is ready
Eleven to fourteen is the usual window, once permanent teeth are through but growth has not finished. Braces for teens →
You are an adult who never had it done
About one in four of our patients is an adult. Teeth move at any age. Adult orthodontics →
Your teeth shifted after braces
Extremely common after retainer wear stops, and usually a shorter, simpler course than the original. Retainers →
You want to compare quotes
Bring another practice’s quote. Ask what each includes — records, adjustments, retainers. Numbers are not comparable until you know that.
You are mid-treatment and moving
We take transfer patients and quote only the remaining treatment, not a fresh course.
Free consultation FAQ
Is the consultation genuinely free?
Yes, including the diagnostics — clinical photos, the 3D iCAT scan, Dr. Beth’s examination and your written treatment plan with fees. There is no charge and no obligation. If you decide against treatment you owe nothing.
How long does it take?
About an hour, including check-in, records and time with Dr. Beth. Filling in the new patient forms at home shortens it by roughly ten minutes.
Do I need a referral from my dentist?
No. A referral is not required in Nevada and does not change your fee. Book directly online or by calling (702) 706-2468.
Will you pressure me to start that day?
No. Some patients do start the same day, which is fine, but there is no expiring offer or discount that disappears if you leave. Take the written plan home and think about it.
Will I find out what treatment costs?
Yes — the exact fee for your case in writing, not a range. We also verify your orthodontic insurance benefit during the visit and give you the monthly figure at 0% APR with no credit check.
What if my child does not need treatment yet?
Then we say so and schedule a review. For children evaluated around age seven that is the most common outcome, and the visit still costs nothing. Monitoring is a legitimate result, not a failed appointment.
Can I bring a quote from another orthodontist?
Please do. Ask each practice what the fee includes — records, every adjustment visit, retainers at the end — because two numbers are not comparable until you know that. Ours includes all three.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Usually within a week or two. We are running a reduced schedule for a short period at the moment, so calling (702) 706-2468 is faster than waiting on a form submission.
